The SAYA-507 steps up to 78" working width with 10 double-disc openers at 7.5" spacing for wider coverage on medium food plots. The updated 2024 model features the same 10 significant improvements as the 505: the painted stainless hopper is now 50% thicker (upgraded from 22ga to 16ga), all hardware is stainless steel, carriage bolts replace standard bolts on the hopper/frame assembly for a stronger hold, and the hitch blocks are now welded Cat 1&2 for universal compatibility. Tar River also added metal bearing caps (replacing plastic), longer adjustment rods for additional depth control, powder coating on all easily corroded plated parts, rubber hold-down straps, a punched scraper plate for better seed coverage, and a laser-cut metal logo. With 10 front cup/rear cup metering units and 10 sets of double-disc openers, the 507 provides excellent seed-to-soil contact across its full 78" width. At 1,420 lbs and 35 HP minimum, it bridges the gap between compact drills and full-size conservation seeders — a solid choice for the food plotter who needs more width than the 505 but doesn't need native grass capability.
